Rocklin Thunder (Rocklin, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Placer Hillmen (Auburn, CA), 48-32 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Rocklin upgrades its record to 8-7 on the season. The Thunder travel to Folsom (Folsom, CA) to clash with the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 9-2. Folsom won 65-34 in their recent non-league bout against Chico (Chico, CA)

Next up, the Hillmen clash with the Chico Panthers (Chico, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Placer will attempt to upgrade on its 6-9 season record. The Panthers go into the bout with a 12-2 record after their 65-34 non-league loss to Folsom (Folsom, CA).
