Texas High School Basketball - Scurry-Rosser trounces Wills Point
December 29, 2022: Scurry, TX 75158 The Scurry-Rosser Wildcats (Scurry, TX) basketball crushed the visiting Wills Point Tigers (Wills Point, TX), 55-33 in Thursday's non-league test.
The Wildcats (9-3) will now prepare for their test against Palmer (Palmer, TX). The Bulldogs go into the 3A Region III District 18 test with a 18-7 record. In their last test, Palmer walloped Ferris (Ferris, TX), 50-41, in a non-league test.
The Tigers now own a 7-15 record. They play next when they travel to Community for a 4A Region II District 14 test on Tuesday, January 3. Wills Point will encounter a Braves squad coming off a 39-33 non-league win over North Mesquite (Mesquite, TX). The Braves record now stands at 7-7.
