The Stony Point Tigers basketball team scored 40 points and restricted the host Second Baptist Eagles to 29 in the Tigers non-league victory on Thursday.

The Tigers now sport a 20-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Round Rock for a 6A Region IV District 25 contest on Tuesday, January 3. Stony Point will battle a Dragons team coming off a 60-48 non-league win over Chaparral (Killeen, TX). The Dragons record now stands at 18-5.

The Eagles (9-4) will now prepare for their contest against Fort Bend Christian Academy (Sugar Land, TX). The Eagles come into the TAPPS 5A District 5 contest with a 8-8 record.
