Missouri High School Basketball - Stoutland knocked off by Van Buren
December 29, 2022: Stoutland, MO 65567 The Van Buren Pointers basketball team scored 40 points and held the host Stoutland Tigers to 24 in the Pointers non-league triumph on Thursday.
The Pointers now sport a 7-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Whitehaven for a non-league contest on Friday, December 30. Van Buren will battle a Tigers team coming off a 58-44 non-league loss to Neosho (Neosho, MO). The Tigers record now stands at 8-2.
The Tigers (7-5) will now prepare for their contest against Lafayette (St. Joseph, MO). The Fighting Irish enter the non-league contest with a 2-1 record. In their last contest, Lafayette was defeated by Whitehaven (Memphis, TN), 58-46, in a non-league contest.
