In Thursday's non-league match, the host United Lions basketball team scored a decisive 60-36 triumph over the Tussey Mountain Titans.

In their next game, the Lions meet the West Shamokin Wolves (Rural Valley, PA) in a Heritage match, on Tuesday, January 3. United will attempt to better on its 7-3 season record.
