Hillcrest Panthers (Dallas, TX) fans were thrilled Thursday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Mansfield Timberview Wolves (Arlington, TX), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Panthers confront the Sherman Bearcats (Sherman, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Hillcrest will attempt to better on its 1-0 season record. The Bearcats enter the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 4-0 non-league loss to Naaman Forest (Garland, TX).
