Virginia High School Basketball - Northside crushes Auburn
December 29, 2022: Roanoke, VA 24019 Northside Vikings (Roanoke, VA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the visiting Auburn Eagles (Riner, VA), 53-32 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Northside upgrades its record to 7-0 on the season. The Vikings host Liberty Christian (Lynchburg, VA) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Friday, December 30. The Bulldogs go into the bout with a record of 2-0. Liberty Christian won 39-34 in their recent non-league bout against Heritage (Lynchburg, VA)
Next up, the Eagles play the Fort Chiswell Pioneers (Max Meadows, VA) in a non-league bout, on Tuesday, January 3. Auburn will attempt to upgrade on its 4-5 season record. The Pioneers go into the bout with a 4-4 record after their 47-33 non-league loss to Radford (Radford, VA).
