Montgomery Vikings (Santa Rosa, CA) backers were in high spirits Thursday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Tamalpais Red Tailed Hawks (Mill Valley, CA), 46-37 in a non-league bout.

With the win, Montgomery upgrades its record to 6-1 on the season. The Vikings travel to Santa Rosa (Santa Rosa, CA) to play the Panthers in a bout on Thursday, January 5. The Panthers go into the bout with a record of 3-4.

Next up, the Red Tailed Hawks play the Hercules Titans (Hercules, CA) in a non-league bout, on Friday, December 30. Tamalpais will attempt to upgrade on its 8-4 season record. The Titans go into the bout with a 5-5 record after their 64-41 non-league loss to Pinole Valley (Pinole, CA).
