California High School Basketball - Wiseburn- Da Vinci nips Serra
December 29, 2022: Gardena, CA 90249 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Wiseburn- Da Vinci Wolves (El Segundo, CA) and the host Serra Cavaliers (Gardena, CA), saw Wiseburn- Da Vinci's basketball squad hold off Serra by a count of 51-47.
With the victory, Wiseburn- Da Vinci upgrades its record to 7-7 on the campaign. The Wolves travel to Narbonne (Harbor City, CA) to play the Gauchos in a non-league challenge on Friday, December 30. The Gauchos come into the challenge with a record of 2-0. Narbonne won 82-12 in their recent non-league challenge against St. Pius X-St. Matthias Academy (Downey, CA)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Bishop Montgomery Knights (Torrance, CA) in a challenge, on Wednesday, January 4. Serra will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 0-1 record after their 63-44 non-league loss to Santa Monica (Santa Monica, CA).
