Arizona High School Soccer - Red Mountain overwhelmed by Verrado
December 29, 2022: Mesa, AZ 85207 The crowd at Thursday's non-league test between the Verrado Vipers (Buckeye, AZ) and the host Red Mountain Mountain Lions (Mesa, AZ), saw Verrado's soccer squad triumph over Red Mountain by a margin of 10-1.
The Vipers now sport a 12-0 record. They play next when they travel to Coronado for a non-league test on Friday, December 30. Verrado will meet a Dons squad coming off a 0-0 non-league Notre Dame Prep (Scottsdale, AZ). The Dons record now stands at 5-3.
With the loss, Red Mountain drops to 2-5 on the season. The Mountain lions travel to Highland (Gilbert, AZ) to meet the Hawks in a non-league test on Thursday, January 5. The Hawks come into the test with a record of 4-1. Highland won 4-1 in their recent non-league test against Maryvale (Phoenix, AZ)
