The Highland Park Owls basketball team scored 59 points and restricted the host Academy for Urban Leadership Charter Jaguars to 57 in the Owls non-league victory on Friday.

The Owls now sport a 4-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Dunellen for a Greater Middlesex - Gold contest on Wednesday, January 3. Highland Park will battle a Destroyers team coming off a 44-31 non-league loss to Manville (Manville, NJ). The Destroyers record now stands at 1-5.

The Jaguars (0-6) will now prepare for their contest against Monmouth Regional (Tinton Falls, NJ). The Falcons come into the non-league contest with a 4-1 record. In their last contest, Monmouth Regional edged Neptune (Neptune, NJ), 46-34, in a non-league contest.
