Illinois High School Basketball - Oswego nips Addison Trail
December 29, 2023: Oswego, IL 60543 Oswego Panthers (Oswego, IL) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Addison Trail Blazers (Addison, IL), 72-67 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Oswego upgrades its record to 1-13 on the season. The Panthers travel to Plainfield Central (Plainfield, IL) to play the Wildcats in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Friday, January 5. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Plainfield Central lost 71-40 in their recent non-league bout against Waukegan (Waukegan, IL)
Next up, the Blazers play the Maine East Blue Demons (Park Ridge, IL) in a non-league bout, on Wednesday, January 3. Addison Trail will attempt to upgrade on its 6-8 season record. The Blue Demons go into the bout with a 10-6 record after their 55-49 non-league win over Providence Catholic (New Lenox, IL).
