Illinois High School Basketball - Addison Trail knocked off by Sacred Heart-Griffin
December 29, 2023: Springfield, IL 62702 The Sacred Heart-Griffin Cyclones basketball team scored 70 points and held the visiting Addison Trail Blazers to 57 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cyclones now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Peoria for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Sacred Heart-Griffin will battle a Lions team coming off a 47-45 non-league win over Harlem (Machesney Park, IL). The Lions record now stands at 6-6.
The Blazers (6-7) will now prepare for their contest against Oswego (Oswego, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-12 record. In their last contest, Oswego was defeated by Rock Island (Rock Island, IL), 69-29, in a non-league contest.
