Catawba Ridge Copperheads (Fort Mill, SC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Aiken Fighting Green Hornets (Aiken, SC), 82-34 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Catawba Ridge upgrades its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Copperheads host Conway (Conway, SC) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Tigers come into the bout with a record of 8-5. Conway won 44-40 in their recent non-league bout against Philip Simmons (Charleston, SC)

Next up, the Fighting Green Hornets play the Philip Simmons Iron Horses (Charleston, SC) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Aiken will attempt to upgrade on its 8-5 season record. The Iron Horses come into the bout with a 8-6 record after their 44-40 non-league loss to Conway (Conway, SC).
