In Friday's non-league outing, the Highlands Bluebirds (Fort Thomas, KY) basketball squad beat the visiting Aiken Falcons (Cincinnati, OH), by a count of 69-57.

The Bluebirds (8-4) will now prepare for their outing against Newport (Newport, KY). The Wildcats go into the District 36 outing with a 12-3 record. In their last outing, Newport defeated Fort Wayne Blackhawk Christian (Fort Wayne, IN), 79-54, in a non-league outing.
