Nebraska High School Basketball - St. Francis can't hold off Crofton
December 29, 2023: Humphrey, NE 68642 The Crofton Warriors basketball team scored 68 points and held the host St. Francis Flyers to 63 in the Warriors non-league triumph on Friday.
The Warriors now sport a 4-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Ponca for a non-league contest on Tuesday, January 2. Crofton will battle a Indians team coming off a 62-53 non-league win over Wakefield (Wakefield, NE). The Indians record now stands at 9-0.
The Flyers (6-2) will now prepare for their contest against Howells-Dodge (Howells, NE). The Jaguars enter the non-league contest with a 7-2 record. In their last contest, Howells-Dodge was nudged by Fort Calhoun (Fort Calhoun, NE), 54-40, in a non-league contest.
