Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Baldwin tops Kiski Area
December 29, 2023: Pittsburgh, PA 15236 Baldwin Highlanders (Pittsburgh, PA) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Kiski Area Cavaliers (Vandergrift, PA), 55-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Baldwin upgrades its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Highlanders host Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA) to play the Blue Devils in a WPIAL 6A 2 bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 8-1. Mt. Lebanon lost 57-55 in their recent non-league bout against Royal Palm Beach (Royal Palm Beach, FL)
Next up, the Cavaliers play the Greater Latrobe Wildcats (Latrobe, PA) in a WPIAL 5A 3 bout, on Tuesday, January 2. Kiski Area will attempt to upgrade on its 8-2 season record.
