The Galena Grizzlies (Reno, NV) basketball knocked off the visiting Basic Wolves (Henderson, NV), 64-50 in Friday's non-league test.

The Grizzlies (9-4) will now prepare for their test against Douglas (Minden, NV). The Tigers go into the 4A Northern test with a 3-11 record. In their last test, Douglas went down by Northgate (Walnut Creek, CA), 61-43, in a non-league test.

The Wolves now own a 6-8 record. They play next when they host Green Valley for a 4A Mountain outing on Tuesday, January 2. Basic will clash with a Gators squad coming off a 81-74 league loss to Sunrise Mountain (Las Vegas, NV). The Gators record now stands at 2-6.
