California High School Basketball - Hoover can't hold off Beaumont

The Beaumont Cougars basketball team scored 48 points and held the host Hoover Cardinals to 46 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 12-4 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Folsom for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Beaumont will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 72-47 non-league win over Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-6.

The Cardinals (10-5) will now prepare for their contest against Thousand Oaks (Thousand Oaks, CA). The Lancers enter the non-league contest with a 14-3 record. In their last contest, Thousand Oaks was nudged by Folsom (Folsom, CA), 72-47, in a non-league contest.
