Kentucky High School Basketball - Berea overwhelms Cordia
December 29, 2023: Berea, KY 40403 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Berea Pirates (Berea, KY) and the visiting Cordia Lions (Hazard, KY), saw Berea's basketball squad wallop Cordia by a tally of 54-13.
With the victory, Berea improves its record to 8-4 on the campaign. The Pirates travel to Casey County (Liberty, KY) to confront the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 2-11. Casey County lost 65-39 in their recent non-league challenge against Metcalfe County (Edmonton, KY)
Next up, the Lions confront the Buckhorn Wildcats (Buckhorn, KY) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, December 29. Cordia will attempt to improve on its 0-12 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 4-10 record after their 74-70 non-league loss to Phelps (Phelps, KY).
