Arkansas High School Basketball - Bergman can't hold off Clinton
December 29, 2023: Bergman, AR 72615 The Clinton Yellowjackets basketball team scored 57 points and held the host Bergman Panthers to 55 in the Yellowjackets non-league triumph on Friday.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 9-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Lisa Academy for a 4A Region 5 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Clinton will battle a Jaguars team coming off a 76-42 non-league win over Guy-Perkins (Guy, AR). The Jaguars record now stands at 2-7.
The Panthers (19-6) will now prepare for their contest against Osceola (Osceola, AR). The Seminoles enter the non-league game with a 7-11 record. In their last game, Osceola tipped Cedar Ridge (Newark, AR), 87-82, in a non-league game.
