Ohio High School Basketball - Bexley nips Columbian
December 29, 2023: Columbus, OH 43209 Bexley Lions (Columbus, OH) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the visiting Columbian Tornadoes (Tiffin, OH), 44-42 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Bexley upgrades its record to 3-3 on the season. The Lions host Centennial (Columbus, OH) to play the Stars in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Stars go into the bout with a record of 3-4. Centennial won 76-36 in their recent non-league bout against Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH)
Next up, the Tornadoes play the Clyde Fliers (Clyde, OH) in a Sandusky Bay - Lake bout, on Thursday, January 4. Columbian will attempt to upgrade on its 5-2 season record. The Fliers go into the bout with a 2-6 record after their 63-41 non-league loss to Colonel Crawford (North Robinson, OH).
