December 29, 2023: Paris, KY 40361 The Bourbon County Colonels basketball team (Paris, KY), dropped 72-54 in Friday's non-league battle with the visiting Calloway County Lakers (Murray, KY)
The Lakers now sport a 3-7 record. They put it on the line next when they host Carlisle County for a non-league battle on Tuesday, January 2. Calloway County will battle a Comets team coming off a 72-53 non-league win over Breckinridge County (Harned, KY). The Comets record now stands at 6-4.
The Colonels (7-6) will now prepare for their battle against George Rogers Clark (Winchester, KY). The Cardinals come into the District 40 battle with a 11-1 record.
