In Friday's non-league match, the visiting St. Mary's Ryken Knights basketball team scored a good 57-43 triumph over the Brooke Point Black Hawks.

In their next game, the Knights meet the Paul VI Panthers (Chantilly, VA) in a non-league match, on Wednesday, January 3. St. Mary's Ryken will attempt to move on its 7-5 season record. The Panthers enter the match with a 9-1 record after their 57-44 non-league win over Cardinal Ritter College Prep (St. Louis, MO).

With the defeat, Brooke Point moves to 5-7 on the year. The Black hawks travel to Mountain View (Stafford, VA) to meet the Wildcats in a Commonwealth match on Friday, January 5.
