December 29, 2023: Buckhorn, KY 41721 In Friday's non-league match, the visiting West Carter Comets basketball team scored a tight 48-47 triumph over the Buckhorn Wildcats.
In their next game, the Comets face the Morgan County Cougars (West Liberty, KY) in a District 62 match, on Tuesday, January 2. West Carter will attempt to move on its 5-6 season record. The Cougars enter the match with a 10-3 record after their 75-58 non-league win over Martin County (Inez, KY).
