The Buffalo Academy of Science Wolverines basketball team (Buffalo, NY), was nudged 55-53 in Friday's non-league battle with the host Lewis J. Bennett Tigers (Buffalo, NY)

The Tigers now sport a 5-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Middle Early College for a Section 6 Buffalo I battle on Thursday, January 4.

The Wolverines (6-5) will now prepare for their battle against Western New York Maritime Charter (Buffalo, NY). The Commodores come into the Section 6 Freelance battle with a 1-7 record.
