Illinois High School Basketball - Butler ripped by Morton Grove Academy

The Morton Grove Academy Crescents basketball team scored 62 points and held the host Butler Lynx to 35 in the Crescents non-league triumph on Friday.

The Crescents now sport a 10-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Englewood Stem for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Morton Grove Academy will battle a Panthers team coming off a 55-45 non-league loss to Jones (Chicago, IL). The Panthers record now stands at 4-10.

The Lynx (5-11) will now prepare for their contest against Round Lake (Round Lake, IL). The Panthers enter the non-league contest with a 0-11 record. In their last contest, Round Lake was routed by Prosser (Chicago, IL), 71-31, in a non-league contest.
