Kentucky High School Basketball - Butler can't hold off Morgan County
December 29, 2023: Louisville, KY 40216 The Morgan County Cougars basketball team scored 66 points and held the host Butler Bears to 65 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cougars now sport a 9-3 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Martin County for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Morgan County will battle a Cardinals team coming off a 76-70 non-league win over Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Cardinals record now stands at 6-6.
The Bears (6-6) will now prepare for their contest against Ohio County (Hartford, KY). The Eagles enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Ohio County was nudged by Martin County (Inez, KY), 76-70, in a non-league contest.
