In Friday's non-league outing, the Dekaney Wildcats (Houston, TX) basketball squad beat the host Caney Creek Panthers (Conroe, TX), by a margin of 61-52.

The Wildcats (11-12) will now prepare for their outing against Nimitz (Houston, TX). The Cougars go into the 6A Region II District 14 outing with a 11-10 record. In their last outing, Nimitz defeated Alvin (Alvin, TX), 40-37, in a non-league outing.
