The Carrboro Jaguars basketball team scored 53 points and held the host East Wake Academy Eagles to 48 in the Jaguars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Jaguars now sport a 5-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Vance County for a 2A/3A Northern Lakes contest on Friday, January 5. Carrboro will meet a Vipers squad coming off a 48-41 non-league win over Bunn (Bunn, NC). The Vipers record now stands at 3-5.

Next up, the Eagles play the Princeton Bulldogs (Princeton, NC) in a non-league bout, on Friday, January 5. East Wake Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 7-7 season record. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a 3-6 record after their 57-53 non-league win over East Duplin (Beulaville, NC).
