December 29, 2023: Hillsville, VA 24343 In Friday's non-league outing, the Carroll County Cavaliers (Hillsville, VA) basketball squad felled the visiting Narrows Green Waves (Narrows, VA), by a margin of 71-54.
The Cavaliers (8-0) will now prepare for their outing against Alleghany (Covington, VA). The Cougars go into the Three Rivers outing with a 8-2 record. In their last outing, Alleghany thwarted Auburn (Riner, VA), 67-56, in a non-league outing.
The Green Waves now own a 10-1 record. They play next when they host Eastern Montgomery for a Pioneer outing on Thursday, January 4. Narrows will encounter a Mustangs team coming off a 59-52 non-league loss to Bland County (Rocky Gap, VA). The Mustangs record now stands at 2-8.
