Texas High School Basketball - Coronado overwhelmed by Carter
December 29, 2023: Lubbock, TX 79410 The Carter Cowboys basketball team scored 71 points and restricted the host Coronado Mustangs to 27 in the Cowboys non-league victory on Friday.
The Cowboys now sport a 15-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to White for a non-league contest on Friday, December 29. Carter will battle a Longhorns team coming off a 95-57 non-league win over Tournament Opponent (, ). The Longhorns record now stands at 13-2.
The Mustangs (15-5) will now prepare for their contest against Eastwood (El Paso, TX). The Troopers come into the non-league contest with a 12-8 record. In their last contest, Eastwood triumphed over Tournament Opponent (, ), 54-28, in a non-league contest.
