Virginia High School Basketball - Cave Spring tipped by Jefferson Forest
December 29, 2023: Roanoke, VA 24018 The Jefferson Forest Cavaliers basketball team scored 77 points and held the host Cave Spring Knights to 70 in the Cavaliers non-league triumph on Friday.
The Cavaliers now sport a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Glass for a Seminole contest on Friday, January 5. Jefferson Forest will meet a Hilltoppers team coming off a 85-59 non-league loss to Spotswood (Penn Laird, VA). The Hilltoppers record now stands at 5-4.
The Knights (4-5) will now prepare for their contest against Blacksburg (Blacksburg, VA). The Bruins enter the River Ridge contest with a 7-3 record. In their last contest, Blacksburg nudged Salem (Salem, VA), 60-52, in a league contest.
