The Washington-Marion Charging Indians basketball team scored 44 points and held the visiting Cecilia Bulldogs to 41 in the Charging Indians non-league triumph on Friday.

The Charging Indians now sport a 8-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Breaux Bridge for a non-league contest on Saturday, December 30. Washington-Marion will battle a Tigers team coming off a 55-54 non-league win over Ville Platte (Ville Platte, LA). The Tigers record now stands at 5-9.

The Bulldogs (3-5) will now prepare for their contest against Comeaux (Lafayette, LA). The Spartans enter the non-league contest with a 7-7 record. In their last contest, Comeaux nudged Kaplan (Kaplan, LA), 74-37, in a non-league contest.
