December 29, 2023: Buckley, WA 98321 In Friday's non-league outing, the White River Hornets (Buckley, WA) basketball squad overwhelmed the visiting Cedarcrest Red Wolves (Duvall, WA), by a count of 93-63.
The Hornets (7-1) will now prepare for their outing against Fife (Fife, WA). The Trojans go into the 2A South Puget Sound outing with a 1-8 record. In their last outing, Fife was crushed by Mt. Rainier (Des Moines, WA), 81-45, in a non-league outing.
The Red Wolves now hold a 7-2 record. They play next when they host Anacortes for a non-league outing on Saturday, December 30. Cedarcrest will clash with a Seahawks squad coming off a 68-43 non-league win over Enumclaw (Enumclaw, WA). The Seahawks record now stands at 7-1.
