In Friday's non-league match, the host Center Cougars basketball team scored a good 76-61 triumph over the Franklin Yellowjackets.

In their next game, the Cougars meet the Bear River Bruins (Grass Valley, CA) in a Pioneer Valley League match, on Wednesday, January 3. Center will attempt to better on its 8-6 season record. The Bruins enter the match with a 8-6 record after their 69-53 non-league win over Valley Christian (Roseville, CA).
