Virginia High School Basketball - Collegiate fells Meadowbrook
December 29, 2023: Richmond, VA 23234 Collegiate Cougars (Richmond, VA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Meadowbrook Monarchs (Richmond, VA), 54-44 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Collegiate upgrades its record to 5-4 on the season. The Cougars travel to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA) to play the Hawks in a non-league bout on Saturday, December 30. The Hawks go into the bout with a record of 5-3. Hanover won 73-56 in their recent non-league bout against Armstrong (Richmond, VA)
Next up, the Monarchs play the Armstrong Wildcats (Richmond, VA) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, December 30. Meadowbrook will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record. The Wildcats go into the bout with a 1-5 record after their 73-56 non-league loss to Hanover (Mechanicsville, VA).
