The Conestoga Cougars basketball team scored 56 points and held the host Parkview Christian Patriots to 52 in the Cougars non-league triumph on Friday.

The Cougars now sport a 7-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer for a non-league contest on Saturday, January 6.

The Patriots (7-3) will now prepare for their contest against Omaha Nation (Macy, NE). The Chiefs enter the non-league contest with a 4-7 record. In their last contest, Omaha Nation was nudged by Bancroft-Rosalie (Bancroft, NE), 73-39, in a non-league contest.
