Largo Lions (Upper Marlboro, MD) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting Constitution Generals (Philadelphia, PA), 68-41 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, Largo upgrades its record to 6-1 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Oxon Hill (Oxon Hill, MD) to play the Clippers in a Prince George's County 3A/2A/1A bout on Thursday, January 4. The Clippers come into the bout with a record of 3-5. Oxon Hill lost 56-53 in their recent non-league bout against Westminster Christian (Miami, FL)

Next up, the Generals play the Audenried (Philadelphia, PA) in a Philadelphia Public - Independence bout, on Thursday, January 4. Constitution will attempt to upgrade on its 7-3 season record. The come into the bout with a 1-8 record after their 60-41 non-league loss to La Academia Charter (Lancaster, PA).
