Texas High School Basketball - Coppell topped by Highland Park
December 29, 2023: Dallas, TX 75205 The Highland Park Scots basketball team scored 52 points and restricted the visiting Coppell Cowboys to 41 in the Scots non-league victory on Friday.
The Scots now sport a 13-7 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Nimitz for a 6A Region I District 7 contest on Tuesday, January 2. Highland Park will battle a Vikings team coming off a 64-51 league loss to Irving (Irving, TX). The Vikings record now stands at 1-10.
The Cowboys (11-9) will now prepare for their contest against Dickinson (Dickinson, TX). The Gators come into the non-league contest with a 4-14 record. In their last contest, Dickinson dropped by Mansfield Legacy (Mansfield, TX), 75-50, in a non-league contest.
