December 29, 2023: Madison, IL 62060 The Madison Trojans (Madison, IL) basketball knocked off the visiting Cuba/Spoon River Valley Wildcats (Cuba, IL), 41-32 in Friday's non-league test.
The Trojans (7-4) will now prepare for their test against Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL). The Rebels go into the non-league test with a 7-5 record. In their last test, Astoria/VIT notched a victory over Blue Ridge (Farmer City, IL), 66-51, in a non-league test.
The Wildcats now own a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Blue Ridge for a non-league test on Saturday, December 30. Cuba/Spoon River Valley will encounter a Knights squad coming off a 66-51 non-league loss to Astoria/VIT (Astoria, IL). The Knights record now stands at 8-5.
