Mississippi High School Basketball - West Union crushes Delta Academy
December 29, 2023: Marks, MS 38646 West Union Eagles (Myrtle, MS) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad bounce the host Delta Academy Raiders (Marks, MS), 85-29 in a non-league bout.
With the win, West Union upgrades its record to 16-3 on the season. The Eagles host Lafayette (Oxford, MS) to clash with the Commodores in a non-league bout on Friday, January 5. The Commodores go into the bout with a record of 8-11. Lafayette lost 62-53 in their recent non-league bout against Jackson Academy (Jackson, MS)
Next up, the Raiders clash with the Hebron Christian Eagles (Pheba, MS) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, January 4. Delta Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 1-5 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 0-3 record after their 58-19 league loss to Columbus Christian Academy (Steens, MS).
