December 29, 2023: DeWitt, AR 72042 In Friday's non-league match, the host DeWitt Dragons basketball team scored a good 65-47 triumph over the Newport Greyhounds.
In their next game, the Dragons meet the Quitman Bulldogs (Quitman, AR) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 30. DeWitt will attempt to move on its 5-5 season record. The Bulldogs come into the challenge with a 5-12 record after their 49-40 non-league win over Pocahontas (Pocahontas, AR).
Next up, the Greyhounds confront the Salem Greyhounds (Salem, AR) in a 3A Region 2 challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Newport will attempt to improve on its 1-12 season record.
