Arkansas High School Basketball - Dumas tops Paragould
December 29, 2023: Dumas, AR 71639 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Dumas Bobcats (Dumas, AR) and the visiting Paragould Rams (Paragould, AR), saw Dumas's basketball squad knock off Paragould by a tally of 60-43.
With the victory, Dumas improves its record to 13-3 on the campaign. The Bobcats host Smackover (Smackover, AR) to play the Buckaroos in a 3A Region 8 challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Buckaroos come into the challenge with a record of 5-6. Smackover won 72-55 in their recent non-league challenge against West Side Christian (El Dorado, AR)
Next up, the Rams play the Searcy Lions (Searcy, AR) in a 5A East challenge, on Friday, January 5. Paragould will attempt to improve on its 9-7 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 8-7 record after their 75-58 non-league win over Pulaski Academy (Little Rock, AR).
