December 29, 2023: Blue Springs, MS 38828 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the East Union Urchins (Blue Springs, MS) and the visiting Oak Hill Academy Raiders (West Point, MS), saw East Union's basketball squad wallop Oak Hill Academy by a count of 69-38.
With the victory, East Union upgrades its record to 7-6 on the campaign. The Urchins travel to Hickory Flat (Hickory Flat, MS) to play the Rebels in a non-league challenge on Tuesday, January 2. The Rebels come into the challenge with a record of 12-5. Hickory Flat won 53-46 in their recent non-league challenge against Thrasher (Booneville, MS)
Next up, the Raiders play the Leake Academy Rebels (Madden, MS) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 2. Oak Hill Academy will attempt to upgrade on its 0-6 season record. The Rebels come into the challenge with a 16-6 record after their 102-61 non-league win over Amory Christian Academy (Amory, MS).
