California High School Basketball - El Toro holds off Rialto
December 29, 2023: Rialto, CA 92376 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the El Toro Chargers (Lake Forest, CA) and the host Rialto Knights (Rialto, CA), saw El Toro's basketball squad hold off Rialto by a tally of 70-66.
With the victory, El Toro improves its record to 5-13 on the campaign. The Chargers travel to Aliso Niguel (Aliso Viejo, CA) to confront the Wolverines in a Sea View challenge on Thursday, January 4. The Wolverines come into the challenge with a record of 15-3. Aliso Niguel won 60-43 in their recent non-league challenge against Indio (Indio, CA)
Next up, the Knights confront the Eisenhower Eagles (Rialto, CA) in a Sunkist challenge, on Thursday, January 4. Rialto will attempt to improve on its 7-12 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 2-9 record after their 71-52 non-league loss to Hillcrest (Riverside, CA).
