In Friday's non-league match, the visiting Elizabeth Minutemen basketball team scored a tight 56-50 triumph over the Sanford Warriors.

In their next game, the Minutemen meet the Loyola Blakefield Dons (Towson, MD) in a non-league match, on Saturday, December 30. Elizabeth will attempt to better on its 5-1 season record. The Dons enter the match with a 8-3 record after their 99-61 non-league win over Aberdeen (Aberdeen, MD).

With the defeat, Sanford moves to 3-2 on the year. The Warriors host Dover (Dover, DE) to meet the Senators in a non-league match on Saturday, January 6. The Senators enter the match with a record of 4-1.
