University Trailblazers (Carmel, IN) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Faith Christian Eagles (Lafayette, IN), 91-80 in a non-league bout.

With the win, University upgrades its record to 4-6 on the season. The Trailblazers host Indianapolis Scecina Memorial (Indianapolis, IN) to clash with the Crusaders in a non-league bout on Thursday, January 4. The Crusaders go into the bout with a record of 3-7. Indianapolis Scecina Memorial won 60-35 in their recent non-league bout against Phalen Leadership Academy (Indianapolis, IN)

Next up, the Eagles clash with the Pioneer Panthers (Royal Center, IN) in a non-league bout, on Saturday, January 6. Faith Christian will attempt to upgrade on its 2-6 season record.
