John Paul II Guardians (New Braunfels, TX) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad bounce the visiting First Baptist Academy Eagles (Universal City, TX), 72-46 in a non-league bout.

With the victory, John Paul II upgrades its record to 7-10 on the campaign. The Guardians host Veritas Academy (Austin, TX) to play the in a TAPPS 4A District 3 bout on Friday, January 5. The come into the bout with a record of 13-8.
