Kentucky High School Basketball - Gallatin County tops Trion
December 29, 2023: Warsaw, KY 41095 Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Trion Bulldogs (Trion, GA), 57-47 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Gallatin County upgrades its record to 7-5 on the campaign. The Wildcats travel to Cornerstone Christian Academy (Shelbyville, KY) to play the Bulldogs in a non-league bout on Tuesday, January 2. The Bulldogs come into the bout with a record of 0-3. Cornerstone Christian Academy lost 81-34 in their recent non-league bout against Carroll County (Carrollton, KY)
Next up, the Bulldogs play the Armuchee Indians (Rome, GA) in a A D1 Region 7 bout, on Friday, January 5. Trion will attempt to upgrade on its 12-2 season record. The Indians come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 74-58 non-league win over Coosa (Rome, GA).
